Nepal Foreign Trade Association has long been representing as an expert of import & export sector to a number of institutions like Department of Customs, Revenue Consultative Committee under Ministry of Finance, Nepal Transit and Warehouse Company Ltd., Export and Trade 
The representation has played a catalyst role to promote Nepal's international trade and contributed to create welcoming environment for economic activities in the country since the beginning.
It also became an effective medium to raise the concern of this community to an appropriate forum over a range of issues.
Organization of trade fairs, exhibitions and delegations
Mission of the association is to create a trade and investment friendly environment in the country and explore marketplace for Nepalese products in the outer world. To achieve the goal this association has welcomed a number of foreign delegations in the countries and deployed its representatives to several countries to explore market for Nepalese goods over the time. It has also regularly organizing trade fairs and exhibition in countries, helping its members to participate in international trade fairs and negotiating with organizers and concerned authorities to offer stalls at best possible reduced rate to Nepali exhibitors.
Representing Businesses
NFTA ensures the interests of the businesses by representing them at the committees formed by the government
By representing at the government committees, NFTA is able to ensure the business interests of the nation are not overshadowed by anyone. And, NFTA has throughout played a very vital role in protection of the economic interests of the Nation. NFTA has represented on several Government formed committees, boards, commissions etc.
